A Vision for Regenerative Living
Hi, we’re Marieke & Rembrandt, proud owners of Villa Harta. We’re from the Netherlands, but we both have an adventurous, global mindset. Marieke took a gap year to Australia after her graduation at the age of 18. Rembrandt stayed during his studies for a summer period in Uganda for volunteer work and worked for 9 months in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
After our kids were born we lived for about 4 years in Czech Republic. After that assignment we decided to take a sabbatical. Our journey began with a simple desire: to search for a place that was aligned with our values of sustainability, intentionality, and global connection. First we found Green School Bali, a globally recognized school with open class rooms in the middle of the jungle. Than we came across Eco Village Sibang, just around the corner of the Green School consisting of 13 villa with like-minded Green School families. As proud owners of this Bali villa, we are committed to sharing its beauty with others and invite fellow travelers to discover the unique charm.
